The ZERO table collection was born from a truly inspiring encounter. The carpenters of MOA Woodman give new life to trees that had to be felled due to disease or natural causes – an approach that beautifully aligns with SARAKELE STUDIO’s value-driven, material-focused design philosophy. 

As its name suggests, the collection is crafted using zero-waste techniques: the tabletop and legs are cut from the same board, inspired by the zero-waste methods known from the fashion industry. It features simple yet distinctive forms that let the natural beauty of the wood take center stage. Inspired by the organic shapes of nature – pebbles on the seashore – the dining and coffee tables embody a calm, harmonious aesthetic. 

We wanted these pieces to be not only beautiful but also practical, easy to love, and accessible. They assemble effortlessly, transport well, and their material use can be tailored to individual needs. Each design is also a therapeutic process for me, sometimes conscious, sometimes unintentional. The entire concept was born from a personal place: going through a difficult phase of life feels like breaking into pieces, and then building something new and beautiful from those fragments. The first pieces are made from solid wood – such as ash, elm, or oak – with walnut and chestnut also available. Our goal is to create furniture that holds its value over the long term – in its materials, its use, and the story it carries.
