I took the classical toy building blocks and with a little carving, glueing and painting, turned it into a lot more entertaining toy: the child can roll marbles through hollow building blocks. The red paint on the sides helps building complex routes for the balls. The prototype has 27 blocks of 7 different kinds and a bridge unit. Beyond being exceptionally skill-developing, the many possible structure variations make the experience different each time played.
